The ESL Academy accepts applications from in-state, out-of-state, domestic, and F-1 international students. The school is authorized under Federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students. Programs in Intensive English are designed for students at all levels of language learning. Classes are divided into Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced groups. Throughout the year, students will study courses on vocabulary and conversation, writing and grammar, and reading strategies.
For advanced-level ESL students, the ESL Academy offers programs in Academic English. These programs are designed to prepare students for attending an American college or university. Academic English programs allow students to choose a focus in writing, literature, or communication for their subject of study.
Programs in Business English allow students with an advanced proficiency in English to learn specialized professional communication skills. Students can choose to enroll in the Customer Service Specialist program or the Hospitality Industry Professional program. Within their program, students will apply their new communication skills in a business setting, gaining both professional and technical skills.
Degree Link programs offer students the opportunity to earn credits from BSUIR toward a bachelor’s degree in Mobile Application Development while studying at CSI.
