About The ESL Academy

The ESL Academy is a division of Computer Systems Institute (CSI), a private college founded in 1989 to serve students struggling to prepare themselves for the demands of an ever-changing computer industry. As computers became integral to careers in all businesses, CSI offered short certificate programs targeted to adult professionals employed or seeking employment in computer, medical, and business organizations.

In 2005, recognizing the demand to study in the USA from a growing community of international students, CSI launched the ESL Academy to provide affordable and effective English as a Second Language programs. Since then, hundreds of students from more than 40 countries have taken courses at the ESL Academy.

The ESL Academy has several English language programs including an Intensive English Program with beginner, intermediate, and advanced level tracks. As well as three advanced Academic English Programs in writing, communication, and literature. The ESL Academy also launched its Business English Programs in 2011. Business English Programs allow F1 visa holders to legally work and live in the USA while learning professional skills. The ESL Academy plans to continue its growth and become the nation’s top provider of English language and professional studies.

The ESL Academy has three Illinois campuses: Skokie, Chicago, Lombard, and one Boston, Massachusetts campus: Charlestown.
